History Overview:

The Ford Mustang was the greatest single automotive success of the 60’s. It raised Ford sales volume by well over half a million cars, and set an all-time record for first year sales of any new model. This remarkable accomplishment can be credited to Lee A. Iacocca, the engineer turned salesman, who worked his way from an obscure sales position to vice president/general manager of Ford Division in five years. Iacocca’s idea was a new personal car, a young person’s car, inexpensive to build, yet peppy and sporty-looking.
A special model for 1984 commemorated the Mustang 20th anniversary. All 5,260 units were produced around the GT package, whether ordered with the turbo four or V-8. Available only in Oxford White with Canyon Red interiors, the cars were further distinguished by articulated sports seats, rocker panel tape treatment that read “G.T. 350”, and various emblems and medallions that harkened back to the 1960’s model.

This is an original un-restored car with only 6 miles showing on the odometer.
