1940 Ford Deluxe 2-Door Convertible

Model Year History Overview:
          Styling of the new 1940 Ford was good, so good that this car became one of the most desirable single models made by any manufacturer.  The hood was crisply pointed, meeting a handsome grille composed mainly of delicate horizontal bars flowing smoothly back to a rakishly angled windshield.  The headlamps, sealed-beams for the first time, were faired into neat fender nacelles.  The fenders themselves were beautifully curved to complement the body contours and were often skirted at the rear for the ultimate streamlined appearance.

          This car underwent a ground-up (not frame-up) restoration in 1995.  A new top was installed in December 2002.  100% original or NOS parts were used.
